About this deal

Once you take the turntable out of the box, you locate the belt which comes preinstalled on the bottom of the platter. The speaker paired easily to my cell phone, but the turntable and speaker just won’t pair, even right next to each other. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.

Experience your favourite tracks the way they were meant to be heard with the Stir It Up Lux Bluetooth® Turntable by House of Marley.Along with the excellent and cool-looking bamboo plinth, there's a recyclable aluminum alloy platter and, around the edges, a black fabric made of 30% organic cotton, 30% reclaimed hemp, and 40% recycled polyethylene terephthalate. Maybe you've noticed that your Roku device hasn't been working as fast lately, or you've encountered a glitch or two with some of your favorite apps. This record player is perfect for anyone who wants a turntable that looks great and gets the best sound out of their vinyl collection.

It looks cool and I want to show it off, but I also don’t want it to get dusty (it would be a pain to dust). It didn't take me long to start listening to my little collection of records with this turntable and the help of a simple Bluetooth speaker. Even after mastering my tonearm balance and placing my speaker nearby, I did occasionally hear little cutouts in the music that sounded more like Bluetooth dropping than record skipping. Even with all of the various streaming platforms, nothing tops being able to tune in to a live broadcast. The tonearm, tonearm base, counterweight assembly, sound-isolation feet, cue lever, speed select dial, and many other components of the turntable, are made from recycled aluminum and plastics. He might not have the wealth or the looks of Tony Stark, but when it comes to knowing about the latest cool kit, Paul would surely give Iron-Man a run for his money. While you may still sleep easier at night knowing you’ve spent your money on a quality, eco-friendly product — and hats off to House of Marley for being one of few audio companies making this a priority — are the upgrades worth the extra dollars? That said, I thought the Lux sounded rich, clear, and warm through the Sonos Era 300 speaker over Bluetooth, even if it did seem to remove some of that nice vinyl crackle, which many listeners might like. I also noticed mechanical noise from the turntable, not enough to be spoil the music, but a bad sign.

The aluminum tonearm is lighter, which House of Marley says makes for improved tracking and less distortion, and the headshell is still stamped with the green, yellow, and red stripes of the Rastafari, a nice nod to the company’s iconic namesake. If possible, try connecting the Stir It Up Wireless turntable to another audio playback device to check if the issue is specific to the device or the turntable. Sure, there are plenty of live TV streaming deals if you want to watch online, but what if you want traditional cable? It is the essential source of information and ideas that make sense of a world in constant transformation. Listening to “Stay in Time” from the 1979 album On, by Illinois power pop band Off Broadway, I was impressed by how quietly the Stir It Up played back this used copy that, while in pretty good shape, still looked like it would have a good amount of pop and crackle. On the downsides; the motor is a little noisy and there is a noticeable hum on quiet passages when using the USB into a PC for recordings and this doesn't have a dust cover.

The good thing about the Stir It Up turntable is it’s a solid enough device that it’s worth spending the money to make the switch if and when you’re ready.Overall, the House of Marley Stir It Up Wireless turntable offers an eco-friendly and stylish way to enjoy classic vinyl records while also incorporating modern technology for convenience and versatility. The Stir It Up turntable should be pretty easy to set up, but my review unit was a little more complicated than it needed to be. I considered the LP60X briefly, but given this will be my third turntable, it would be a waste of money to still not have a counterweight or anti-skate at this point.
